Projects
At the CIP Foundation, we work across three project themes – agriculture and food production, energy and infrastructure, and data and digitalization – where we identify challenges and the need for structural transition, laying the groundwork for political decision making.
Projects are decided by the Board of Directors and organized around an Advisory Board, which provides inspiration and ensures the quality of the work. In addition, we will arrange a series of external hearings and seminars in connection with the individual projects, where CIP Foundation members can also play an active role.
A common feature of the projects we develop at the CIP Foundation is that they are based on Denmark’s strengths and have a reduction potential for Danish society. Our ambition is therefore to develop and launch sustainable societal projects that can give Denmark a technological leadership position and export potential.
All projects at the CIP Foundation consist of professional analyses, regulatory mapping, and concrete proposals for financing and implementation.
For the most part, we already have the technologies needed to avert the climate crisis. But we need a stronger focus on large scale implementation and significantly accelerating the pace. My expectation for the CIP Foundation is that, with its focus on technology and longterm thinking, it will help society take quantum leaps in the green transition.
